Where is the Schlossapotheke Thun located? We’re centrally located in Thun’s Old Town. You can find the exact address on our Contact page.
How do I get there by bus? It’s only about a 3-minute walk from either the Lauitor or Marktgasse (STI) bus stops.
Is there parking nearby? We recommend the City Ost Schlossberg parking garage. From there, take the elevator directly to the Old Town exit; the Schlossapotheke is located immediately to the left of the Old Town entrance.
Is the pharmacy wheelchair accessible? Yes. People with limited mobility can drive or be dropped off directly in front of the pharmacy via Rathausplatz. Please note the official access hours for Thun’s downtown area: weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Can I get there on foot or by bike? Yes, our pharmacy is easily accessible on foot, by bike, or by e-bike.
Do you offer home delivery? Yes, we deliver in Thun and the surrounding area. Contact us by phone or email for details.
What should I do in an emergency outside of business hours? You can find the current pharmacy on-call service at apotheken.ch or contact the cantonal health department to inquire about the on-call service in the Thun region.
Which vaccinations are covered by health insurance? Recommended basic vaccinations, such as the flu, TBE, or COVID-19, are covered in part or in full, depending on your insurance plan. We’d be happy to advise you in person at the pharmacy or during your appointment.
Can I pre-order prescription medications? Yes. Contact us by phone or email, and we’ll have your medications ready so you can pick them up without waiting.
